Café Cité occupies the ground floor of the Casona Compañía, a building distinguished by its high ceilings, preserved period walls, and the quiet of its interior patios. Built in nineteen twelve and designated a site of historical conservation, the casona became a focal point for architectural restoration after a fire nearly destroyed the property in two thousand sixteen.
