The Peluquería Francesa, located at the corner of Compañía de Jesús and Libertad streets, is a historic site recognized by its long-standing identity as both a traditional barbershop and a restaurant known as Boulevard Lavaud. Founded in eighteen sixty-eight by the French immigrant Victorino Tauzan, the business served the elite residents of the Barrio Yungay and the French diplomatic community.
