Plaza Libertad de Prensa

Plaza Libertad de Prensa is a circular square defined by a central fountain surrounded by benches and cobblestone streets. It sits at the core of the historic Barrio Concha y Toro, a neighborhood developed beginning in nineteen twenty-two by Teresa Cazotte Alcalde. She envisioned a European-style residential area with short, curved streets that converge at this plaza, which was originally known as Plazoleta Du Pont.
