The mural Les Routes de la Soie, or The Silk Roads, covers two faces of a building located at four rue Carquillat in the Clos Jouve area. Painted in shades of red and white, the work spans one hundred and fifty square meters on each side to represent three thousand years of history. It traces the long journey of silk from its origins in the Chinese city of Chang'an, through Syria and other territories, to the arrival of the trade in France.
