The Hôtel Bullioud on Rue Juiverie is identified by the Philibert de l’Orme gallery, a stone structure suspended between buildings in its second courtyard. Built in fifteen thirty-six, the gallery marks one of the earliest appearances of the Renaissance style in France. Antoine Bullioud, then the owner, commissioned the architect to connect two separate sections of his mansion without encroaching on the limited ground space or removing a courtyard well.
