Its most distinctive physical characteristic is its complex structural design, which utilizes a reinforced concrete ladder beam paired with a metal frame to support the suspended floors. Architects Claude Vasconi and Jean-Claude Burdèse engineered this form in the nineteen-nineties as part of the broader Euralille urban development project.
