The Opéra de Lille is identified by its neoclassical facade, which features three large windows framed by Ionic columns and a pediment depicting Apollo with his muses. Architect Louis-Marie Cordonnier designed the structure between nineteen oh seven and nineteen thirteen, intending it as one of the last Italian-style opera houses built in France.
