The CCI Grand Lille, or Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is defined by its massive, seventy-six-meter-tall belfry that dominates the Place du Théâtre. Constructed between nineteen ten and nineteen twenty-one, the building was designed by architect Louis-Marie Cordonnier to showcase the regional economic power of northern France. It exemplifies the neo-Flemish style, featuring rich decorative elements, plant motifs, and stonework that echo the architectural traditions of the seventeenth century.
