The Lille Grand Palais is a massive, oval-shaped structure that anchors the city’s business and event district. Designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas and completed in nineteen ninety-four, its bold, contemporary design is defined by its ability to host up to twenty thousand people at once. The complex combines three distinct functions—a congress center, an exhibition hall, and the Zénith concert arena—all contained within a single, highly modular building.
