Place Félix Éboué is a circular square in the twelfth arrondissement defined by a large, tiered stone fountain at its center, where eight bronze lions sit around a basin. Designed by architect Gabriel Davioud and sculpted by Henri-Alfred Jacquemart, this fountain arrived at this location in eighteen eighty. It had originally stood on the place du Château-d’Eau, known today as the place de la République, but was moved to make way for a monument to the Republic.
