Parc Kellermann

landmark

Parc Kellermann is defined by its distinct two-level layout, where an upper plateau designed in an art moderne style looks down onto a lower, greener basin that follows the former bed of the Bièvre River. Spanning five and a half hectares in the thirteenth arrondissement, the site was created between nineteen thirty-nine and nineteen fifty on land once occupied by the Thiers fortifications, the final defensive wall built around Paris in the nineteenth century.
