Tour Super-Italie

The Tour Super-Italie rises one hundred twelve meters above the thirteenth arrondissement as a cylindrical silhouette, distinct among the blocky, rectangular towers of the neighborhood. This residential skyscraper, completed in nineteen seventy-four, was designed by architect Maurice Novarina as the tallest element of a massive urban renewal project known as Italie Treize. The tower is easily identified by its rounded form, which resembles a double basket handle, and a sloping cap that encloses the uppermost levels.
