Tombe de Samuel Beckett

The grave of the Irish writer Samuel Beckett is marked by a flat, plain slab of gray granite. It sits within division twelve of the Montparnasse Cemetery in the fourteenth arrondissement of Paris. The stone bears both his name and that of his wife, Suzanne Dechevaux-Dumesnil, who died just months before him in nineteen eighty-nine.
