Promenade Bernard Lafay

The Promenade Bernard Lafay is a two-kilometer linear park that stretches along the western edge of the seventeenth arrondissement, running between the Porte Maillot and the Porte d’Asnières. Opened in nineteen ninety, it functions as a green corridor that stitches together a series of smaller, distinct gardens, including the square Marguerite-Long and the jardin André-Ulmann. A winding path links these spaces, shielded from the constant hum of the nearby boulevard périphérique by rows of trees such as Austrian black pines, Himalayan cedars, and Atlas cedars.
