The Octroi de Neuilly stands as a small, brick-faced structure at the junction of Rue Parmentier and Boulevard Bineau. It is one of the last survivors of nine such stations that once ringed the city, where officials collected taxes on goods like meat, coal, and alcohol brought into town.
