Jardins Rosa Luxemburg

park garden

The Jardins Rosa Luxemburg stretch as a narrow green corridor directly alongside the active railway tracks leading into the Gare de l’Est. You can identify the space by its contrast between lush vegetation and the long, industrial lines of the nineteenth-century-style Halle Pajol, which shelters a portion of the garden under its metal roof. Opened in twenty-fourteen, the garden covers nine thousand square meters and serves as a public space where you can watch trains pass by while walking on paths lined with local trees like ash and flowering cherry.
