Eglise Saint-Vincent de Paul

The Eglise Saint-Vincent de Paul sits at the summit of a grand system of stairways and gardens, easily recognized by its massive portico featuring twelve ionic columns that represent the twelve apostles. Built between eighteen twenty-four and eighteen forty-four, this neoclassical structure occupies the former site of the Saint-Lazare precinct, where Saint Vincent de Paul established the headquarters of his religious congregation in the seventeenth century.
