Place des Messageries-de-l'Est

The Place des Messageries-de-l'Est is a small public square located at the intersection of Rue Pajol, Rue du Département, and Rue Philippe de Girard in the eighteenth arrondissement of Paris. It is distinguished by its name, which commemorates the industrial history of a neighborhood once dominated by the extensive rail infrastructure feeding into the Gare de l'Est and the Gare du Nord.
