Saint-Jacques-du-Haut-Pas

Saint-Jacques-du-Haut-Pas is a Roman Catholic parish church identifiable by the square tower that flanks its southern side and the four columns on its façade that support a triangular pediment. Located at the corner of Rue Saint-Jacques and Rue de l'Abbé de l'Épée, the present building was completed in sixteen eighty-five. Its name refers to the brothers from Altopascio, Italy, who settled here in the twelfth century to care for pilgrims and the sick.
