Place Saint-Sulpice is dominated on its eastern side by the Church of Saint-Sulpice, a massive building with two mismatched towers that took over one hundred years to construct. The square itself is a generous open space, characterized by the Fontaine Saint-Sulpice, a monumental fountain featuring four statues of bishops.
