January 2016 Paris police station attack

On January seventh, twenty sixteen, this police station in the Goutte d'Or neighborhood became the scene of a tense confrontation. At around eleven-thirty in the morning, a man approached the building armed with a meat cleaver. He wore what appeared to be a suicide vest, though it was later confirmed to be fake. As he neared the reception area, he shouted "Allahu Akbar," forcing officers to respond immediately.
