Le Chat Qui Pêche, located at ten rue de la Huchette, sits in the Latin Quarter on a narrow street named after a local legend of a cat that supposedly caught fish from the Seine. Today, the address houses a restaurant, but it is best known for its mid-twentieth-century history as a basement jazz club.
