The Bedő House on Honvéd Street is distinguished by an arched wooden portal shaped like a peacock tail. Designed by architect Emil Vidor and completed in nineteen oh three, this apartment building was commissioned by the factory owner and art collector Béla Bedő. The facade is covered in decorative ceramic elements from the Zsolnay factory in Pécs, featuring colorful Hungarian patterns of smiling sunflowers, tulips, pansies, and apple trees.
