The Malom-tó, or Mill Lake, sits near the foot of the Buda hills as a remnant of the thermal waters that define this part of the city. You can identify the area by the stone pillars along the eastern edge of the water, which support a walkway and sit above masonry that historians believe dates back to the Turkish occupation of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
