Gül Baba Street is a steep, narrow lane paved with cobblestones that climbs the slopes of Rózsadomb, or Rose Hill, in the Buda district. It serves as the primary approach to the tomb of its namesake, Gül Baba, an Ottoman dervish and poet who died in the city in fifteen forty-one.
