The Black Cone, Monument to Civil Disobedience, is a sculpture featuring a dark, cone-shaped form that appears to split a large boulder in two. Created by the Spanish artist Santiago Sierra, it was installed in twenty-twelve on Austurvöllur square, located directly in front of the Alþingishús, the Icelandic parliament building.
