Kinari Bazar is a narrow, bustling lane in Old Delhi defined by its dense rows of small shops overflowing with gold and silver zari borders, colorful ribbons, and wedding embellishments. This market traces its roots to the seventeenth century, when it formed part of the larger Chandni Chowk area established by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Originally, the site was known as Dariba Khurd and served as a specialized hub for gold and silver jewelry where royal women shopped for precious finery.
