Shri Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra Lal Mandir

The Shri Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra Lal Mandir is distinguished by its vivid red sandstone facade, which contrasts against the surrounding streetscape across from the Red Fort. This structure, often called the Red Temple, represents the oldest Jain place of worship in Delhi. Its origins trace back to sixteen fifty-eight, when Mughal authorities permitted the establishment of a site for the Jain community within the walled city of Shahjahanabad.
