Telegraph Memorial

The Telegraph Memorial is a twenty-foot-tall grey granite obelisk standing on a sandstone base. You can identify it by its tapered, column-like shape, which is inscribed with fading text on four sides. It was unveiled on April nineteenth, nineteen oh two, to mark a moment during the uprising of eighteen fifty-seven that the British administration considered a turning point for their survival in India.
