Laforet Harajuku is recognizable by its distinctive cylindrical facade and curving glass walls, situated at the busy intersection of Omotesando and Meiji-dori streets. Opened in nineteen seventy-eight by the developer Mori Building, the name is a French translation of the company’s name, which means forest in Japanese.
