Shibuya Crossing is defined by the massive digital billboards and neon lights that tower over its wide, intersecting asphalt streets. It is famously known as the scramble, where traffic lights in every direction turn red at once, bringing vehicles to a complete halt. For two minutes, thousands of pedestrians pour into the intersection simultaneously, moving in every direction, including diagonally.
