Banjahiti बन्जाहिटी

Banjahiti is a traditional neighborhood in Kathmandu, characterized by the historic infrastructure of the hiti, or stone water spout, from which the area takes its name. These hitis are ancient, gravity-fed water systems designed during the Licchavi and Malla periods to provide continuous water from underground aquifers to the residents of the valley.
