The MU.SA, or Museu das Artes de Sintra, occupies a prominent neoclassical building that once functioned as the Sintra Casino. Designed by architect Manuel Joaquim Norte Júnior, the structure opened its doors to the public on August first, nineteen twenty-four. Its grand facade and historical design now house a municipal collection dedicated to modern and contemporary art, standing as a cultural reference point in the Estefânia area of the city.
