Pisoes Waterfall

Pisoes Waterfall, also known as Cascata de Pisões, consists of a small cascade that flows over the high stone walls bordering the road to Quinta da Regaleira. A stone platform sits at the base of the cascade, where water spills from the springs carved through the Sintra mountains. This flow of water provided a consistent source for local drinking and irrigation long before the area became a destination for visitors.
