Penedo da Amizade

Penedo da Amizade is an immense, vertical granite wall that rises from the green foliage on the hillside directly beneath the Castle of the Moors. The name, meaning Friendship Rock, comes from its location within the grounds of an old property once called the Quinta da Amizade. It stands as a natural defensive element of the landscape, defined by its rough, towering surface that contrasts sharply with the surrounding trees.
