Hwangnamppang Original Store

The Hwangnamppang Original Store is recognizable by the small, hand-pressed chrysanthemum pattern stamped onto the top of every bun. This golden pastry, filled with a dense, smooth red bean paste that accounts for about seventy percent of its weight, first appeared in Gyeongju in nineteen thirty-nine.
