Bäckerei Fuchs

Bäckerei Fuchs is marked by the Kleinmatterhörnli, small chocolate replicas of the Matterhorn sold alongside traditional Swiss pastries. Founded in nineteen sixty-five by Pius and Yolanda Fuchs, the bakery began as a modest, improvised operation located in a basement. At the time, the village ski slopes ended right in the town center, and the bakery became a destination for coffee and cake rather than the typical après-ski drinks.
