Bronze Alphorn

The bronze alphorn sits prominently on the stairs of the Gemeindehaus in Zermatt. You can identify the sculpture by its material and its distinct orientation, as the instrument points directly toward the Matterhorn. Created by Italian artists Paolo Albertelli and Mariagrazia Abbaldo, the piece was installed in July two thousand fifteen.
