The Mont Cervin Palace is a massive, storied hotel on the main street of Zermatt, easily picked out by the red horse-drawn carriages that wait outside to transport guests. It opened in eighteen fifty-two as a small guest house with just fourteen beds, founded by State Councillor Josef Anton Clemenz from Visp.
