Pirates of Nassau

The Pirates of Nassau is an interactive museum housed in a large building in downtown Nassau, easily identified by the full-scale replica of the pirate ship Revenge that forms the centerpiece of its exhibit. This museum explores the period between sixteen ninety and seventeen twenty, when the shallow waters surrounding New Providence served as an ideal haven for outlaws who used small, fast vessels to plunder merchant ships while remaining out of reach of larger naval warships.
