Andy Rourke Memorial Mural

The Andy Rourke memorial mural is a large, hyper-realistic, black-and-white portrait painted on the side of the Wheatsheaf pub on Oak Street. It shows the late Smiths bassist in his prime, captured with his instrument during a nineteen eighty-five tour performance in Dundee. The artist, Akse P nineteen, created the piece using a photograph taken by Nalinee Darmrong.
