The Regency Ballroom sits on the northeast corner of Van Ness Avenue and Sutter Street. It occupies a building constructed in nineteen oh nine that was originally designed by architect Albert Roller as a Scottish Rite Masonic temple. You can recognize the structure by its Neoclassical and Beaux-Arts architecture, which remains a prominent feature of the local streetscape.
