Kezar Pavilion

stadium

Kezar Pavilion is a cast-in-place concrete gymnasium identifiable by its deep, arching roof corbels and multi-tone clay tile roof. Built in nineteen twenty-four, the arena sits in the southeast corner of Golden Gate Park and was designed by architect Willis Polk in a neo-Romanesque style. While it was intended to open in July of nineteen twenty-five, the building was not completed until nineteen twenty-six.
