Alcatraz City Cruises

Alcatraz City Cruises is the official ferry provider for Alcatraz Island, operating from Pier thirty-three along the Embarcadero. This waterfront site serves as the only authorized departure point for travelers heading to the island, which is managed by the National Park Service as part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The pier area includes the ticket office, waiting zones, and boarding docks used by thousands of visitors each day to reach the former federal penitentiary.
