Chambers Mansion

The Chambers Mansion is a Queen Anne Victorian built in eighteen eighty-seven for Robert Craig Chambers, a successful silver mining superintendent from Utah. It stands as a prominent structure on the twenty-two hundred block of Sacramento Street, distinguished by its complex facade of Gothic and Tuscan architectural details. While the mansion survived the nineteen oh six earthquake and fire, it gained a different kind of reputation in later decades as a center for local folklore.
