The Beat Museum

The Beat Museum sits at the intersection of Broadway Street and Columbus Avenue in the North Beach neighborhood, identifiable by the nineteen forty-nine Hudson automobile parked directly inside its display area. This space serves as a dedicated archive for the Beat Generation, a mid-twentieth century literary movement that centered on writers like Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, and William S. Burroughs.
