The Tivoli stands out for its sprawling, tiered red-brick profile and a high spire that resembles a castle against the Denver skyline. Originally opened in eighteen sixty-four as the Colorado Brewery by German immigrant Moritz Sigi, the structure once housed the first artesian well in the territory. Sigi designed the site with a blend of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque influences, making it a unique architectural feature in the region.
