Georgetown Waterfront Park

Georgetown Waterfront Park is defined by its ten acres of green space and winding promenade that curve directly along the Potomac River. Before it became a public park in twenty eleven, the site was an industrial stretch occupied by mills, warehouses, and eventually a sprawling asphalt parking lot used for storing trash trucks and road salt.
