Dahlgren Chapel of the Sacred Heart is a red brick Gothic Revival building sitting within the Dahlgren Quadrangle at the heart of Georgetown University. Dedicated in eighteen ninety-three, it occupies a position enclosed by the university’s oldest structures. Inside, the space includes an iron cross believed to have been brought to Saint Mary’s by early English settlers.
