Old City Hall

The Old City Hall stands on Washington Avenue as a nine-story, Mediterranean Revival landmark completed in nineteen twenty-seven. Designed by architect Martin Luther Hampton, the structure is defined by its symmetrical facade and once featured an observatory on the ninth floor. This space offered residents panoramic views stretching across the city to the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, providing a high vantage point during the decade that defined the early development of Miami Beach.
